A place to slow down, spend time with God, build deeper friendships, and experience church family in a different way.
Ask About Higgins Lake →More Than a Getaway
Higgins Lake gives our church family a place to step outside the normal rhythm of the week and spend meaningful time together.
It's a setting for retreats, camps, worship, prayer, conversations, shared meals, activities, and the kind of unhurried time together that's hard to fit into an ordinary Sunday morning.
Sometimes that means sitting around a fire. Sometimes it's swimming, making something together, sharing a meal, or simply talking long after the day's plans are over.
Time Together
Higgins Lake is part of several different experiences throughout the year, bringing people together in ways that don't always happen within the walls of the church.
An annual summer tradition filled with worship, teaching, meals, activities, time outdoors, and plenty of opportunities to simply enjoy being together.
Time away gives young people room to build friendships, worship, have fun, ask questions, and encounter God outside their everyday routine.
Higgins Lake also provides a setting for special retreats and gatherings throughout the year — time set apart for connection, renewal, and spiritual growth.
Around the Fire
The meaningful moments aren't always the ones you can put on a schedule.
Teaching and worship are part of the experience, but so are the conversations afterward, praying with someone who needs it, hearing another person's story, and having the time to listen to what God may be showing you.
Again and again, people come back from Higgins Lake talking about the relationships they strengthened, what God showed them, and why their time there mattered.
Summer at Higgins Lake
Part retreat. Part camping trip. Part church family reunion.
Family Camp brings generations together for several days of worship, teaching, food, activities, and life around the campground.
People pitch in. Meals are prepared and shared. Fires get built. Campers get backed into place. Kids and adults head out for activities. And somewhere between all of that, relationships grow.
Camp Life
Worship and prayer matter. So do campfires, meals, swimming, crafts, laughter, and the conversations that happen when nobody is rushing off to the next thing.
